David has been cast by Sophie Holland, as the Councilman to Henry Cavill's lead role of Geralt in the much anticipated Netflix series. Filming in Budapest has begun and expect a Winter 2019 release .

2017 started with 'Eastenders' as the vet Richard Day, christening Nadine's baby in the fifth series of 'Stella', portraying Henry VIII in both 'Henry VIII and his six wives' and the follow up 'Elizabeth' ,

a revealing portrayal of the Prime Minister in Lionsgate's 'The Royals' and his first horror film 'Don't Knock Twice' with Lucy Boynton, for Red Film Company.

2018 began with a 3M corporate film, appearing with Kate Beckinsale in the soon to be scheduled

'The Widow', filming the role of Ernest Mason in 'The Christmas Prince II' in Romania and spending the summer in Chennai, India with 24AM studios making a top secret sci-fi film, that I can't say any more about....

Originally from North Wales, David had various careers before graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Since 1987 he has performed at nearly all the No 1 touring houses across the UK.

Amongst the companies David has performed with are the, Royal Shakespeare Co, Young Vic, RNT Studios, English Shakespeare Co, Salisbury Playhouse,Leicester Haymarket, Cheltenham Everyman, Oldham Coliseum, Theatr Clwyd, Sherman Theatr Cardiff, Aarhus Theatre, Denmark, Playhouse Theatre, New York and Steppenwolf in Chicago.

David appeared at the Watermill Theatre, Newbury in the critically aclaimed production of RC Sherriff''s 'Journey's End'. Played in Ramallah, Palestine in 'This Flesh is mine', a new play by Brian Wooland, commissioned by Border Crossings Theatre Co and the Ashtar Theatre Ramallah. Other recent theatre includes the Finborough Theatre, with ' The Fear of Breathing ', the White Bear, Kennington with John Osborne's 'The Devil Inside Him ' and at Riverside Studios, Hammersmith in Wajdi Mahoud’s 'SHORE', directed by Anne Khazam.

His face will be familiar due to the number of TV commercials he has shot including; Asda, Sainsburys, The Trainline, Paddy Power, Confused.com, National Lottery, Disneyland Paris,X Factor, The Valleys, Toby Carvery, Churchill Insurance, Find my past and Children in Need with Bonnie Tyler.
